In the event of Bumrah's nonattendance the senior public choice panel should pick Mohammad Shami or Deepak Chahar, who have been added as stand by players for the T20 World Cup which will be played in Australia one month from now.

Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma before the as of late closed series against Australia had communicated how Bumrah's nonattendance hurt the Indian group.

"Bumrah is a vital player. The manner in which he has performed throughout recent years has been phenomenal. "Great to have Bumrah back and I want to believe that he remains fit and bowls as quick as possible, which he typically does," the 34-old Mumbai batsman had added.
